The final months of the year not only usher in the holidays and a bustling shopping season but also some of the year's coldest weather.

Inspired by several of our loyal customers donating their old or outgrown dog's coats, hoodies and sweaters, Blaze-N-Skyy would like to kicks off our first annual Warm Coats, Warm Paws Coat Drive.

Many shelters across the country struggle to keep the dogs warm during the winter months because they are unable to afford dog winter apparel for the shelter dogs. With so many non profit organization struggling financialy because of the recession, your dog's old or outgrown coat and clothing donations matter this year more than ever.

Donations are accepted through Jan. 16 our retail store on 62 Wall St., Downtown Asheville. They will be distributed to all our local shelters and rescue organization. Other types of outwear are acceptable and appreciated, like dog sweaters, shirts, jackets and sweatshirts. Even old beds or blanket could help shelter dogs stay warm this season.

For every outerwears, beds, or blankets donated, Blaze-N-Skyy will give 10% Discount good towards NEW dog apparel, beds and blankets. Clearance items are included.
